Being a northern Colorado Realtor is not easy, especially in winter. One has to be hardy, creative and assess the needs of the client accurately at all times. Our state has really been hit hard with cold temperatures and snow recently too. If it’s not snowing, it’s forecast to start soon… or everything is already white enough that you need to wear sunglasses!
Seriously, the other day while on a neighborhood walk with a client, my eyes were watering because it was so bright outside. The tears were worth it though. We found him the perfect house despite (or because of) the weather and as he checked out the yard – he had very specific requirements – I captured this glee on my cell phone.
Of course the contract was contingent upon a few things:
- The house needed to pass inspection… the freezer was working and the sellers disclosed that the A/C was too – or this would have been a deal breaker!
- Then a quick check of the homeowners associations covenants and restrictions and we were clear to close.
With arms held high he did his happy dance.
Another satisfied customer! <sigh>
